EPA Gateway
To help apprentices demonstrate the core knowledge listed in the Apprenticeship, we accept professional certification that has been mapped to the knowledge components listed in the latest version of the Apprenticeship Standard.

Apprenticeship Overview
A level 4 apprenticeship, for individuals working with organisations to improve their information systems. Giving participants the ability to investigate business situations, identify, and evaluate options for improvement and defining the features required by an organisation.
Funding
Typical duration to gateway (I.e. excluding EPA period): 24 months
Maximum funding: £18000
Entry Criteria
Individual employers will set the selection criteria, but this is likely to include A levels; a level 3 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications; relevant experience and/or an aptitude test with a focus on functional maths.
