WHAT WE'RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON
How we’re designing and delivering the next generation of apprenticeship assessment.

Where we are right now

Reform is being implemented on a rolling basis, with assessment plans being updated standard by standard.

This page shows which standards we're actively working on and where we are in the process.

We update this page regularly as standards progress and new ones are added.

Our Reform Process

For each standard, we work through the following stages:

1

Kick-Off

We review the new assessment plan and begin our internal design work. Where possible, we run a kick-off webinar at this stage to share our initial thinking and hear early views from providers and employers

2

In Development

We're actively designing our assessment approach

3

Assessment Criteria Review

We work with provider and employer subject matter experts to shape and test our approach

4

Final Proposal

We share our proposed assessment model for structured feedback before it goes live

5

Live

The reformed assessment is available for new starts
