

Assessment Introduction
This apprenticeship equips professionals with the skills to deliver effective advertising campaigns, from initial brief through to performance measurement. Advertising and Media Executives combine creativity and strategy to plan, develop, and deliver campaigns that engage audiences and drive measurable results across multiple channels.
The apprenticeship standard has two options:

IPA Foundation Certificate
This is an integrated assessment method. The apprentice must start the integrated component (IPA Foundation Certificate) after the Project, Slide Deck Presentation and Questions has been attempted.
The delivery and management of the IPA Foundation Certificate is organised by the apprentice’s training provider and the awarding body for the IPA Foundation Certificate qualification.
A presentation based on a project is also submitted by the end of week 6 of the EPA period; this is then presented to an independent assessor. The presentation and questioning on both the presentation and project will last 60 minutes.
