This apprenticeship equips professionals with the skills to design, deliver, and support network infrastructure, ensuring organisations remain connected and operational. Network Engineers maintain high-performing systems, resolving issues and enabling reliable digital services.
They will:
Install, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure to meet organisational needs
Diagnose and resolve network issues to minimise disruption
Implement compliant solutions that support performance, security, and business objectives

The mandated assessment method for this standard is at least one simulation We are currently in the process of designing our assessment approach to make sure it is rigorous, fair and fit for purpose. Additional assessment methods may be incorporated as our design develops. This apprenticeship assessment has a lead-in time to allow us to design and finalise our approach. It is available for starts from 2nd Novemeber 2026.
