

Assessment Introduction
This apprenticeship equips professionals with the skills to design and deliver IT solutions that solve business challenges and improve performance. IT Solutions Technicians turn requirements into effective technical solutions, supporting organisations through the full implementation lifecycle.
They will:
Gather and analyse requirements to design appropriate IT solutions
Develop, test, and implement solutions that meet business needs
Support and maintain systems while communicating solutions to stakeholders

Project With Presentation, and Questioning
A 2,000-word written project report designed to meet the needs of the business, delivering real business benefit, submitted by the end of week 4 of the EPA period. A presentation based on the project(s) is also prepared and is submitted at the same time as the report.
A presentation with questioning session will follow with an independent assessor; the presentation will take 20 minutes and will be followed by 40 minutes of questioning.
A 60-minute two-way discussion underpinned by the portfolio, which involves both the independent assessor and the apprentice actively listening and participating in a formal conversation.
