Assessment Introduction
This apprenticeship equips professionals with the skills to design, deliver, and support network infrastructure, ensuring organisations remain connected and operational. Network Engineers maintain high-performing systems, resolving issues and enabling reliable digital services.
They will:
Install, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure to meet organisational needs
Diagnose and resolve network issues to minimise disruption
Implement compliant solutions that support performance, security, and business objectives

Simulated Assessment
A 4-hour simulation assessment task(network installation and network optimisation) in a virtual lab environment, then on a separate day, 30 minutes of questions with an Independent Assessor on the lab activity evidence.
A 60-minute two-way discussion underpinned by the portfolio, which involves both the independent assessor and the apprentice actively listening and participating in a formal conversation.

Grades awarded are fail, pass, merit, or distinction.
