EPA overview
Elevate your apprentices' success with Accelerate People's innovative approach to the Level 4 Digital Product Manager end-point assessment.
This qualification prepares professionals for roles across diverse organisations from tech start-ups to government departments and multinationals where digital products are created or used. Digital Product Managers drive and manage digital products - systems, services, apps, websites, software - through their complete lifecycle, from inception and prototyping to gaining customer feedback, making enhancements, and eventually decommissioning. They provide the crucial bridge between technology, data and user needs, directing teams to deliver optimal products while continually gathering feedback to prioritise improvements in this fast-paced environment where changes can happen weekly or even daily.
Our tech-driven assessment platform delivers rapid 24-hour results, detailed criterion-specific feedback, and flexible scheduling through our industry-experienced assessors. We transform the EPA experience into a streamlined journey that positions apprentices for success in this strategic role that translates user needs into viable digital solutions.
Assessment method 1: Professional discussion underpinned by portfolio
A 60-minute two-way discussion underpinned by the portfolio of evidence, which involves both the independent assessor and the apprentice actively listening and participating in a formal conversation.
Assessment method 2: Project report, presentation, and questions
A 1,500-word report based on a work-based project completed after gateway, submitted by the end of week 10 of the EPA period. The presentation and questions will last for 60-minutes, typically split 20-minutes for the presentation and 40-minutes for questioning.
