This qualification prepares young professionals for roles across all sectors and industries where data management and software development are essential. They support the collation, formatting and storage of data while validating information by checking and identifying errors. They follow instructions to support elements of software development and testing, working with the critical data and software systems that all organisations depend on. They carry out fundamental duties including supporting the storage, retrieval and sharing of data, manipulating data by following instructions, and contributing to software testing and development processes under guidance.
