EPA overview
Elevate your apprentices' success with Accelerate People's innovative approach to the Level 4 Sales Executive end-point assessment.
This qualification prepares professionals for sales roles in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. Sales Executives sell specific product lines or services, planning their activities, leading customer interactions, and managing internal sales processes. They retain and grow existing accounts while generating new business through prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales. With expert product knowledge, they analyse customer needs and create solutions by selecting appropriate offerings that link features and benefits to customer requirements.
Our tech-driven assessment platform delivers rapid 24-hour results, detailed criterion-specific feedback, and flexible scheduling through our industry-experienced assessors. We transform the EPA experience into a streamlined journey that positions apprentices for success in this revenue-generating role that builds customer relationships through expertise, trust and solution-focused selling.
Assessment method 1: Work-based project
A 5,000-word report based on a work-based project completed after gateway, submitted by the end of week 10 of the EPA period. This assessment method must be graded Pass, as a minimum, before apprentices can attempt AM2 and AM3.
Assessment method 2: Presentation, including a sales pitch, with questions and answers
A 30-minute session compromising of a 10-minute sales pitch presentation, 5-minute explanation of their preparation, and 15-minutes of questions and answers. Presentations must be submitted at least 10-days before the delivery of the presentation.
Assessment method 3: Professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence
A 50-minute two-way discussion underpinned by the portfolio of evidence, which involves both the independent assessor and the apprentice actively listening and participating in a formal conversation.
